Our History
RAM Corporation, Inc. was established in 1995 by Kenneth Koch. From the beginning, RAM’s mission has been to provide the highest quality service and support in the fluid power industry.
The inception of RAM Corporation started with nothing more than a great idea and a great attitude. So with determination and consistent hard work, Ken put this idea into action and opened our doors in a two car garage-sized building in 1995. The whole company consisted of two people. Ken and a part-time bookkeeper.
The idea worked! By 1998, our company had grown to five employees, business had increased, and we’d outgrown our original location on Foster Avenue. We moved to a 7,000 square foot facility on Vivelle Avenue conducting business there until January of 2002. From there we relocated to Hill Street. By that time, we had become widely known as the fluid power specialist in Middle Tennessee and surrounding areas.
With a continuous increase in business, once again we found it necessary to move our company to another location. So in 2008, we moved to our current location at 2520 Plum Street – a 20,000 square foot plant. In 2015, we expanded our operation by constructing a new technician building. This added another 10,000 square feet for us to better serve our customers.
Throughout the years, we have honed our skills and refined our expertise with positive results. Today, with 25 employees, RAM Corporation is known worldwide as the leading provider of fluid power services and parts in Middle Tennessee. We routinely handle the biggest jobs for some of the biggest companies in the country and worldwide.
